About
Di Gi Draft
and Design
Designing a home project isn't just about drawings.
Its about making the right decisions before construction begins.
We help homeowners plan additions, renovations, and new homes with clarity so they can move forward with confidence when it's time to build.
Most projects don't go off track because of bad intentions.
They go off track because key decisions weren't fully thought through early on.
Our role is to help you avoid that.

How We Work
We take a planning-first approach to residential design.
Before jumping into full drawings, we focus on understanding what's actually possible for your property, how the space should function, and what it will take to bring your project to life.
This early phase helps define direction, uncover constraints, and ensure key decisions are made with clarity before construction begins.
From there, we develop the design into a complete set of permit-ready drawings that builders can rely on for accurate pricing and execution.

NC Building License #83352
WNC AIBD Chapter Vice Chair
Steve spent years working in construction, customer service, and residential design, helping homeowners navigate what can often feel like an overwhelming process.
That experience has shaped a clear understanding of how projects succeed and where they break down when key decisions are not made early.
Steve's focus is on communication, clarity, and problem solving, helping homeowners understand what is being built, why it works, and what to expect before committing to construction.
His role is simple. Work alongside each client from the first idea through a clear, buildable plan, staying involved every step of the way.
Outside of work, Steve is a dad first, spending time with his daughter and wife, and enjoying skateboarding, camping, and being outdoors.

Meet
Chelsea Weibust
Project designer | she/her
Bachelor of Science in Architecture
Master's of Architecture
Chelsea plays an active role in the design process, working directly with clients during meetings to explore ideas, walk through options, and help shape the direction of the project.
She helps bring your ideas to life in a way that feels clear and easy to understand, talking through layouts, possibilities, and what each decision means for your home. The goal is to make sure you feel comfortable and confident as the design comes together.
As the design develops, Chelsea continues to refine the plans and details, making sure everything is thought through before moving forward. Her focus is on creating a design that not only looks good, but also works well in real life.
Outside of work, she is a proud pet parent, pizza lover, plant enthusiast, and a voracious learner.

Why This Matters
There's a big gap between an idea and a successful build.
Most projects don't run into problems because of bad intentions. They run into problems because key decisions weren't made clearly enough before construction begins.
By focusing on planning, feasibility, and clear documentation, we help reduce surprises, improve builder communication, and create a smoother, more predictable path from concept to construction.
Who This Is For
We're a good fit for homeowners who want to approach their project with clarity before jumping into construction.
Typically, our clients:
-
Want to plan their project before hiring a builder.
-
Value thoughtful decision-making over rushing into drawings.
-
Are investing in additions, remodels, or new construction.
-
Want to reduce risk and avoid costly surprises during the build.
